Brittany Packnett Cunningham, Gia Peppers, Marc Morial and more to join When We All Vote and BET’s Vote Early Rally encouraging thousands to vote early ahead of elections in 35 states across the country

(Washington, DC): Today, Tuesday, October 19th, When We All Vote and BET will host the Vote Early Rally, featuring Brittany Packnett Cunningham, Gia Peppers, Marc Morial and other special guests. The virtual rally will take place during When We All Vote’s #OctoberVoter Month of Action dedicated to helping voters and volunteers vote early by mail or in-person in the November elections in Virginia and around the country. When We All Vote will also provide volunteers with the resources they need to ensure their families, friends and communities are registered and ready to vote.

This fall, voters in 35 states have important local and state elections. During the Vote Early Rally, When We All Vote is mobilizing volunteers to help three or more people vote early, and also calling on them to host both virtual and in-person events as a part of Vote Early Day on October 23rd. With the Freedom to Vote Act on the schedule for a Senate vote this week, When We All Vote is calling on volunteers to join the 14,000 Americans who have already taken action by calling their Senators in support of the bill. The Freedom to Vote Act would expand access to the ballot box, including by making early voting more accessible for all.

The initiative also led in voter education, registration, and volunteer engagement and as a result, 512,000 people started or completed the voter registration process, and nearly 500 media, corporate, and nonprofit partners joined its efforts.
