Common, City Girls, DJ D-Nice, Elaine Welteroth & More to Join When We All Vote’s Final #CouchParty and Encourage Americans to Make their Plan to Vote Early

During the When We All Vote LOUD #CouchParty, volunteers will text 250,000 voters about making their plan to cast their ballots early

(Washington, DC):  Tomorrow, Friday, October 23, one day ahead of National Vote Early Day, When We All Vote will host its final virtual #CouchParty to encourage Americans to make their plan to vote early and safely together. During the When We All Vote LOUD #CouchParty, When We All Vote Ambassadors, including Common, City Girls and Elaine Welteroth, President and Executive Director of the Lawyers’ Committee Kristen Clarke and more will discuss how participants can mobilize their communities to take action to vote early, know their voting rights and make a difference in the final days until Election Day. 

Participants will text 250,000 voters about making a plan to cast their ballots while dancing along to a live set from DJ D-Nice. Grammy and Academy Award-winning rapper, activist and actor Common has partnered with When We All Vote on a new early vote video featuring his new song “A Place in This World” from his forthcoming album Beautiful Revolution, Pt 1. Vote Loud is a campaign launched by When We All Vote to rally participation among young voters in the most important presidential election of their lifetime featuring When We All Vote Co-Chair Liza Koshy, Khalid, Becky G, G Herbo and more. More than 450,000 people have started and or completed the voter registration process with When We All Vote, and to date, volunteers have sent more than 11 million texts to eligible voters.

The #CouchParty is a part of the When We All Vote Together Early Vote Weeks of Action. During the Weeks of Action, When We All Vote is partnering with More Than A Vote to host early voting celebrations in seven cities across the country. When We All Vote is also providing $1 million in grants and supplies to local partner organizations to host their own activations in communities around the country.

In response to COVID-19, When We All Vote is leading the fight for fair and safe elections by supporting the expansion of access to vote-by-mail, early in-person voting and online voter registration so every American can make their voices heard on Election Day.
