In 2024, we are inviting our partners to join a cross-industry Culture of Democracy Collective that brings together leading national and community organizations as well as corporate, media, entertainment and sports partners and celebrity talent.
LET’S GET TO WORK
We’re currently seeking committed partners to join our effort to increase civic participation through voter registration, amplification, mobilization, and support. Specifically, we aim to build a coalition of national and local partners to join our mission to committed and able to strengthen our democracy through:
- Educational and volunteer opportunities,
- Internal and external voter registration efforts,
- Voter access and voting reform support, and
- Charitable contributions.

Thank you for your interest in participating in When We All Vote’s Culture of Democracy Collective (the “Collective”). When We All Vote is an initiative of Civic Nation, a nonprofit organization exempt from taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “Code”).
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONSTITUTE A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU (THE “PARTICIPANT”) AND CIVIC NATION AND STATE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT GOVERN YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CULTURE OF DEMOCRACY COLLECTIVE. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE COLLECTIVE, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
These Terms and Conditions are in addition to the Civic Nation Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If these Terms and Conditions are inconsistent with the Civic Nation Terms of Use, these Terms and Conditions will govern your participation in the Collective.
About the Culture of Democracy Collective
In 2024, When We All Vote is inviting other groups and organizations to join a cross-industry Culture of Democracy Collective that brings together leading national and community organizations as well as corporate, media, entertainment and sports partners and celebrity talent. The Collective will work together to register young voters and voters of color; drive newly registered and sporadic Black, Brown, and young voters to cast their ballots; and build a culture of voting through music, sports, entertainment, and media.
Exempt Purposes
Participant understands that Civic Nation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization which is prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for elective public office. Participant agrees that its activities as part of the Collective will be consistent with Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
Licenses
When We All Vote Marks: Subject to the terms and conditions herein, Civic Nation hereby grants permission to Participant, on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis while participating in the Collective, to use When We All Vote’s name and logo (“WWAV Marks”) to distribute Collective materials that have been provided to you by When We All Vote. Participant agrees that it will not use the WWAV Marks or Collective Materials (i) in connection with the support of, or opposition to, candidates for public office within the meaning of sections 501(c)(3) and 4955 of the Code; (ii) in connection with any encouragement to vote for or against any political candidate or political party; (iii) in connection with providing any incentives or anything of value to encourage or reward voting or registering to vote; (iv) for any commercial purpose, or (v) in any way in contravention of any applicable law or regulation.
Participant Trademarks: Subject to the terms and conditions herein, Participant hereby grants permission to Civic Nation, on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis while participating in the Collective, to use the Participant’s name and logo on Collective materials approved by Participant.
Rights to Other Materials. Participant represents and warrants that it has any necessary rights and permissions to share stories, photos, videos and other materials with Civic Nation. Participant grants permission to Civic Nation on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis to use any stories, photos, videos or other materials that Participant shares with Civic Nation to be used on When We All Vote’s digital platforms and/or shared with members of the media.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless
Participant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold Civic Nation harmless from and against any and all damages, fines, costs, liabilities, causes of action, suits, judgments and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees, disbursements, and actual costs), losses and court costs suffered by Civic Nation, directly or indirectly, arising wholly or substantially out of Participant’s violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Miscellaneous
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Participant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of any court located in the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia, United States of America, and waive any jurisdictional, venue or inconvenient forum objections to such courts, in any matter arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Civic Nation may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
Termination
Civic Nation reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Culture of Democracy Collective at any time or to remove a Participant from the Collective immediately for any reason or no reason at its sole discretion.
